History

Founded in 1936 and formally established in 1945 by Harry “Tiger” Edwards, Harry’s Cafe de Wheels was born out of his frustration with the lack of good late-night food in Sydney. The humble Woolloomooloo pie cart quickly became a favourite amongst Sydneysiders and soon after gained notoriety as a pilgrimage for local and visiting celebrities. Over the years Harry’s has served the likes of Frank Sinatra, Sir Elton John, Chris Hemsworth, Colonel Sanders, Olivia Newton John, Kelly Rowland, Pamela Anderson, Prince Harry, and many more.
