Business Overview

Well Established | Recurring Annual Audits | Long-Standing Referral Relationships | Capacity to Grow Ongoing fees: approximately $402,000 Location: Regional Western Australia Type of work: self managed superannuation fund (SMSF) audits An excellent opportunity to acquire a well established SMSF audit practice in regional Western Australia. The work is referred by a group of accounting firms, several of which have referred work to the Practice for many years, and it recurs each year as SMSFs must be audited annually. The Practice is operated by a sole practitioner with no staff, who is an ASIC approved SMSF auditor and undertakes all of the audit work. The work is mostly performed remotely, with documents received and all reports issued electronically. The Practice is run from a home office, and the Buyer will operate the Practice from its own premises. The Seller is transitioning to retirement, wishes to focus on other interests and is committed to a smooth handover, including introductions to the referring firms. A Buyer with additional capacity would have the opportunity to grow the Practice. The Buyer, or an auditor within the Buyer's practice, will need to be an ASIC approved SMSF auditor. This represents an ideal opportunity for an established SMSF audit practice seeking to expand its fee base, or for an experienced SMSF auditor seeking to move into ownership of their own practice. Further financial information is available within the Information Memorandum. Prospective buyers should be financially qualified before proceeding. An Information Memorandum will be made available to interested parties upon completion of a Confidentiality Agreement and Questionnaire via our website. For further details, please complete the Confidentiality Agreement and Buyers Questionnaire below. Please note the Buyer Questionnaire is a standard form we use for all accounting practice sales, so some questions may not apply to an SMSF audit practice. In the Other Relevant Information section, please confirm that you (or an auditor within your practice) are an ASIC approved SMSF auditor, and add any other details relevant to SMSF audit including approximately how many audits you currently undertake.
